How To Mix Leopard and Lace: Inspired by Selita Ebanks

I cannot quite pinpoint Selita Ebanks’ style and I love that about her. She wears everything from electric-hued form-fitting mini dresses to knee-length skirts, with her hair swept back.

She was seen at the Cinema Society & Bing screening of “The Hangover Part II” at Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City. Selita looked fantastic in a quirky, yet high-fashion combination of a lace button down blouse, a leopard flouncy skirt and platform sandals. Her braided chignon, red lip and coral nail polish were the perfect complements. I love this look and it is perfect for the warm weather ahead.

Here is how you can recreate Selita’s look.

I am much too clumsy when it comes to studs, so I hold fast to my Cubic Zirconia pair. Adriana Orsini’s Sterling Silver 2.5 Carat Stud Earrings ($65) are the perfect ones to own. A nude bra is a wardrobe essential and Victoria Secret’s Ipex® Wireless Bra (on sale for $28.50) literally works wonders. Equipment makes the best button down blouses and the brand’s Adrien Lace Blouse ($188) will help you achieve Selita’s look as well as becoming a wardrobe staple.

Watches are quite possibly my least favorite accessory (probably the reason why I am always late), but I can’t help falling in love with Breil’s Lady Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch ($240). Harem pants are the perfect on-the-go style and Tucker’s Leopard Print Silk Georgette Harem Pants ($310) have a hint of edge. A pair of nude platform sandals can be worn everyday in the summer and Jimmy Choo’s Curve Patent Leather Sandals ($795) are a splurge, but you will surely get your wear out of them.
