Mariacarla Boscono has always been one of my favorite models. The Italian beauty has been rocking runways all over the globe since 1999, when she debuted at Vivienne Westwood and Issey Miyake in Paris.
For Spring 2012, Mariacarla is the face of Yves Saint Laurent’s Spring 2012 collection. Photographed by David Sims, the beauty look is strong featuring long thin eyebrows and chopped bangs. I love the artistic nature of the campaign and it gives me the feeling of an Italian Renaissance portrait.
