Straight from a trunk show with Pamela Love, Reformation is now collaborating with another one of my favorite brands, VEDA. What could be better for Holiday 2011?
Yael Aflalo and Lyndsey Butler collaborated on a series of portraits to debut the collection with artist and photographer Ari Marcopoulos from the Adam Kimmel Skateboarding Project. Model Ashley Smith stars in the images. The theme is part art, part fashion and part real fun: Ashley is getting ready for her 21st birthday party.
The capsule collection is comprised of 10 pieces, blending Reformation’s vintage philosophy and VEDA’s rock and roll edge. From reworked leather jackets to lingerie-inspired dresses, there is definitely something for every woman to covet. My favorite pieces? The Luna Pant ($165) and the Bridgette Dress ($205). The former is a pair of easy, loungewear-inspired silk pants that will be perfect for everyday with classic pumps or for a night out with a backless blouse. The latter is an amazing mini dress that you will wear for seasons to come.
