With Kate Moss as a mentor in her teenage years and an out-of-this-world resumé including advertising campaigns for Moschino, Chanel, Versace and more, how could you not be envious of Devon Aoki? She hasn’t even turned 30 years old yet and has a wealth of experience that most women in the fashion industry only dream of.
Devon was seen at the 2011 MOCA Gala in a look from Giorgio Armani’s Spring 2011 collection: a navy one-shoulder gown with a sequin bodice with cutout detailing and a silk satin skirt. She accessorized with statement earrings, a polished chignon and a red lip. A stunning look that only makes me anxious to see Devon at the next event.
I love navy as an alternative to black. It goes well with a number of shades, as well as being perfect for day to night looks. With holiday celebrations just around the corner, I opt for simple pieces that will allow my sparkling statement accessories to play centerstage. Here are some simple navy picks for Fall that will allow you to do the same.
Give yourself a very fitting holiday gift with Red Valentino’s Bow Tote Bag ($450). With a sleek chignon, cherry red lip and oversized stud earrings, there is no way that you can look anything less than flawless in Paula Bianco’s Wrap Scarf ($85). I am overdue for my next ABS dress. The Asymmetrical Knit Dress ($148) will be perfect for year round wear with a statement necklace and sky-high heels.

That dress is amazing! I wish she kept the peek-a-boo detail on the runway version.
