Katy Perry definitely pushes the envelope in terms of style. She is never afraid to wear what her little fashionable heart desires and she often opts for whimsical, head-turning pieces.
She was seen in Rio de Janeiro rocking a limited-edition dress from Lisa Perry: Roy Lichtenstein’s No Thank You Dress which captures the iconic artist’s image. The collection in total is limited to only 99 dresses and is a perfect fit as Lisa Perry’s designs are so pop and 1960’s in nature and aesthetic. Last year, she created pieces centered around the works of Andy Warhol, thus the Lichtenstein collaboration is the second in a series of artist-inspired collections. To top it off, a portion of the proceeds go toward the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton New York.
I love that Katy Perry chose this design and I would actually love to see her in the other dresses from the collection. Though quite a splurge, these Roy Lichtenstein dresses are unlike anything on the planet and can be worn many different ways from pairing them with Converse sneakers and a fedora, to rocking sky-high heels and statement earrings for a night out.
Katy Perry’s Limited Edition Lisa Perry Roy Lichtenstein No Thank You Dress retails for $2000. Visit www.lisaperrystyle.com to purchase.
