How To Wear Sequins For Fall: Inspired by Beyoncé in Roberto Cavalli at Her Pulse Fragrance Launch at Dream Downtown in New York City

If you were thinking that Beyoncé would stop going pants-less as a result of her pregnancy, you were wrong. I thought the days of her in flashy, sequin, leg-baring pieces were gone, but she has totally shown me otherwise.

She was stunning at her Pulse Fragrance Launch at the Dream Downtown in New York City. Beyoncé chose a Roberto Cavalli look completely adorned and shimmering in blue sequins: a long sequin menswear-inspired blazer and a sequin dress that left no inch of her leg unexposed. She paired the look with huge sequin stud earrings and black peep-toe Louboutin pumps. Totally glamorous and fabulous, in true Beyoncé fashion. Definitely a head-turning look for a night out.

Here are some great pieces to help you wear sequins for Fall. Don’t be afraid to go bold and try sequins for both day and night!

You have no idea how close I was to buying a Vanessa Bruno tote in Charles de Gaulle airport in March. Try the Cabas Sequin Embellished Leather Tote ($535) for the epitome in Parisian chic. Sequins can dress up the most basic of silhouettes and they do just that on Gryphon’s Sequin Merino Wool Sweater ($265). Harem pants are my go-to silhouette for Fall, so try MICHAEL Michael Kors’ Sequined Jersey Harem Pants ($225) for a comfortable yet luxe look.

Alice + Olivia’s Ritchie Sequin Dress ($550) is super versatile: wear it for a night out with black patent leather pumps, or for a casual Friday with black tights and riding boots. Can’t you see Beyoncé in Christian Louboutin’s Leopard Sequin Pumps ($1695)? A sequin cardigan is perfect for looking glam, but still staying comfortable. Try Velvet’s Emelia Sequin Cardigan ($185) and get a must-have piece for the season.
