Something you should know about me is that I only like two football teams: the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets. I do not profess to be a football connoisseur by any means and I only watch the aforementioned teams, at least until the end of the season when the games become more crucial.
From the day he started, I became a fan of Mark Sanchez. I will not pretend his good looks went unnoticed, but he has also proven to be a great player and we are both the same age, showing that our generation does indeed have some stars whose talent is of the utmost importance and not scandal.
Mark is on the cover of GQ’s September 2011 issue in Jets green from his v-neck Boss Black sweater to his Rolex watch. In the fashion department, the look is a total win and will hopefully show men that going for color and the right fit is the way to look polished, yet stay on trend for Fall. I also love the addition of the skinny Tom Ford belt which is something I believe most men are afraid to try. Here it works well. Nothing about the ensemble is flashy, just clean and simple.
The issue gives him the crown of the “bright new face of the NFL” so I truly hope he lives up to that title this season.
