Sarah Jessica Parker in Dolce & Gabbana at the Goodspeed Gala And My Leopard Picks For June

Sarah Jessica Parker is one of the most glamorous women in the world, but most do not know that she had her start on Broadway as Annie. She attended the Goodspeed Gala in East Haddam, CT to honor the important men behind the scenes of the play: composer Charles Strouse, writer Thomas Meehan and conceptualizer/director/lyricist Martin Charnin.

SJP never goes anywhere in an ensemble that is anything less than magical and for the gala she chose a one-shoulder leopard dress from Dolce & Gabbana. It was cinched at the waist and she wore her hair back in a chignon to really let the gown play centerstage. Dolce & Gabbana are known for their animal prints pieces and there is no one who could have worn this dress better than Sarah Jessica Parker.

Like Domenico and Stefano, I too love animal print, especially leopard. Here are my picks in the feral print for June.

Marc by Marc Jacobs dresses are among my favorites and his 10th Anniversary Leopard Print Dress ($278) is perfect for the season: you can just throw it on and go. I am obsessed with quirky footwear and Opening Ceremony’s Margot Wedge Sandals (on sale for $511) in blue shell are just that. I am imagining them with a floral dress or romper for a delightful mix of prints. When it comes to Rochas’ accessories, I just cannot get enough. The brand’s Leopard Print Haircalf Tote Bag ($1935) is amazing and it’s so large that you might be able to jump in it and hide from the world when you feel the need.
