Must-Have: JewelMint’s Oyster Earrings

A woman can never have too many pairs of earrings. They are a daily necessity and like a great pair of pumps, can be worn with any ensemble no matter how casual.

I cannot remember the last time I purchased a really great pair of earrings for under $50, but I have found my next pair in JewelMint’s Oyster Earrings. If you haven’t heard of the brand by now, it is a collaborative effort between style maven Kate Bosworth and her stylist and bff, Cher Coulter.

JewelMint is an online boutique that sells amazing costume jewelry that both Bosworth and Coulter design, with new pieces debuting each month. Members pay $30 each month and have access to pieces of their choice which are determined by a style quiz which is filled out at sign-up. The mix is diverse and all quite lovely: a perfect reflection of Bosworth’s and Coulter’s styles.

The Oyster Earrings are completely chic and elegant: gold fans with pearl insets that have such a ladylike and vintage feel. Bosworth wore them at the 2011 Creative Coalition Spotlight Initiative Awards during the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.

They are perfect accoutrements to add to your jewelry box. Here are some pieces you can wear with them and some must-have nail polish:

Alexander Wang’s handbags are among the most coveted in the industry right now and his new Lia Sling Bag ($780) in latte is absolutely perfect: a beautiful neutral color, rose gold studs and pebbled leather. The easiest way to accessorize is always with a great nail polish and LaLaque ($20) by Yves Saint Laurent is fabulous in any shade. Blush pink is always in for Spring and House of Harlow’s Pearl Open Toe Pumps ($225) take ladylike to the next level.

JewelMint’s Oyster Earrings retail for $29.99 with a JewelMint membership. Visit to purchase.
