Serena Williams represents so much for me and for black women in general. How great life can be when we relentlessly pursue our dreams; what hard work looks like; that we are desirable and strong and feminine and beautiful; that we can be dominant and powerful in our fields but also carefree and fun and lighthearted…I could seriously go on and on! That’s why I’m so happy that she and her adorable daughter Alexis are on February’s cover of Vogue.
