Travel Log: Greece

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do in this world and I’ve vowed to get out of the country at least once a year. A couple of months ago I visited Greece, with some day trips to the surrounding islands. The world has so much beauty to offer and we all should do our best to see it all in our lifetime, if only to know how other people live and to create lasting memories. Landscapes and getting to different landmarks in each city is essential for me, as well as taking in fashion, food, and some of the arts if I can.

Above, I captured the view from atop Cape Sounio. Can you believe the sight? Rolling hills, the bluest water, and so much greenery.

I stayed at this beautiful hotel called The Margi which was situated on the Vougliameni peninsula, one of the most exclusive areas of the Athenian Riviera.

It was a rainy morning before I set out on my second day in Athens, but The Changing of the Guard at the Parliament Building was well worth it!

This is all that’s currently left of The Temple of Zeus.

As a New Yorker, I’m biased when it comes to city skylines, but Athens has one of the most beautiful I’ve ever laid eyes on.
