The 2013 Met Gala is fashion’s Christmas and the stars were definitely in attendance at the very stylish event. Rita Ora opted for a custom-made Thakoon dress and necklace, her signature red lips, and perfect curls.

Preparation
“To help restore moisture and shine, wash and condition with Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Shampoo and Conditioner. Follow with Rare Blend Oil Total Hair Therapy (the potent formula penetrates the cuticle) as a leave in while hair is still damp for optimal absorption.”
Styling
“To help achieve the ‘Punk’ look while still maintaining Rita’s signature style, I added a few clip-in extensions for length and body. I cut the extensions into an inverted bob with layers using a razor. I parted her hair and sprayed Volumizing Styling Spray to each section before styling. I used a 1″ Gold N Hot curling iron to wave her hair into shape. A trick I like to do is stretch the curl while it’s still warm, this ensures the ‘punky’ not-so-perfect look we were going for. I added a dime sized amount of Animated Volumizing Cream and raked my fingers through the curls to prevent frizz, add body, definition and a light hold.”
Finish
“Lastly, Rita’s hair was back combed at the crown and I also teased some of the curls to separate them and add even more volume to the sides of her hair. Once the desired shape was achieved, I set her hair with Volumizing Styling Spray which has impeccable staying power and yet remains flexible enough to have movement.”
