You know I love me some Jay-Z, thus I was so excited to hear that the music mogul has been put in charge of the upcoming soundtrack for The Great Gatsby. I literally cannot wait for the film to be released in theaters, as the book is one of my all-time favorites.
We already know that Mr. Carter is a renaissance man and has eclectic musical taste, thus I think Baz Luhrmann made a great decision. This might also mean that artists like his wife Beyoncé, bff Kanye West, Rihanna, Rita Ora, and more might lend their talents to the compilation.
His song with West, “No Church In The Wild” is already used in the trailer, so I guess we should have seen this coming! Nevertheless, we’re all in for a treat.
