Though for most Spring is all about the returns of brights and vibrant patterns, Robert Rodriguez is sticking to the classic color palette of black and white for his Spring 2013 collection. With a focus on tailoring, the designs are structured and often menswear-inspired, though not at all lacking in femininity.
Modeled by Heidi Mount, the collection features flirty yet functional silhouettes, paired with either flat sandals, black leather brogues, or strappy heels.
Prints vary between black and white stripes and a wallpaper-inspired baroque pattern in the same shade on blazers, ankle-length skinnies, mini skirts, and red carpet-ready dresses.
Some of the designs scream movie premiere, thus I hope a few celebrities flock towards the long ruffle-detailed skirt or cutout back gown.
