He is staring in Scott Ellis’s play “The Elephant Man” which is playing now at Williamstown Theatre in Massachusetts. The film was originally done in 1980 by David Lynch with an all-star cast including Anthony Hopkins, John Hurt and Anne Bancroft, among others. Cooper plays the lead taking on the complicated and deformed character of Joseph Merrick.
