Mixed prints anyone? Heidi Klum tried them out in NYC at the book signing for Project Runway: The Show That Changed Fashion.
She paired a Dolce & Gabbana Leopard Print Crêpe de Chine Top with a polka dot skirt and Christian Louboutin Jenny Tartan Slingbacks. I don’t know if I would be bold enough to wear this, but I love it! Heidi pulls it off effortlessly.
Her stretch silk crêpe top features a blue leopard print, in true Dolce & Gabbana fashion. You might not be able to wear her slingback pumps everyday, but as they’re Christian Louboutin, they are definitely must-splurges for shoe aficionados.

Mixed prints can be great…if you follow the “scale variance rule”. Here, the blouse/skirt print vary in scale (large print on blouse contrasting small print on skirt). However the scale of print on the shoes is almost identical to the blouse which confuses the eye and muddles the effect. I enjoyed reading. ~S
