I’m not sure why women are still wearing tights since it has been relatively warm in New York City, but to each her own I suppose. Alexa Chung wore a black pair with Carven’s Lace Print Silk Shirt and Yves Saint Laurent’s Ingénue Suede and Metal Slingbacks while at the Virginia Screening at Crosby Street Hotel in New York City.

This is quite a cute look and definitely right in line with Alexa’s style. Carven is one of my favorite brands and her mint green organza silk shirt features a contrasting white fold-down collar for a ladylike addition to your wardrobe. I also love Yves Saint Laurent shoes and her black suede slingbacks boast gold metal cap toes, capturing one of the hottest shoe trends for the season.
