With Spring just weeks away and warm weather on the horizon, I can’t help but think of beaches, bare legs and sunglasses. PRISM is a super cool brand that will help you with a few of the aforementioned. Anna Laub is the brain behind the line and she wanted to create both sun and optical glasses that were not only functional, but standout accessories in their own right. Intricate detailing, clean lines, trendy silhouettes and colors: the designs are fun and make your face as much of a showstopper as your feet would be encased in your favorite shoes.
The frames are crafted from acetate blocks and are hand-finished at a family-run factory in Italy’s North Eastern region. Each pair comes in very limited quantities (adding to the uniqueness and originality of each pair) and take their names from the cities which inspired the designs. Above are the RIO Zebra Horn Optical Glasses (£210, $330) and ROME Midnight Blue Sunglasses (£249, $391). Both splurges, but pieces you will have in your wardrobe for decades with great upkeep.
