There has been a huge push for Chinese expansion in the luxury industry. From collections inspired by the country’s culture to grandiose parties and boutique openings, China is really helping fashion to move forward in many ways from creative to technology to retail.
Brioni is the latest brand to strengthen its presence in China and has opened three new mono-brand stores in Wuhan, Guangzhou and Shenyang. These boutiques are housed on the ground floors of the best malls in these cities and they are a great way for new clientele to spend and have visibility to the brand.
At the design helm of the new boutiques are architects Ignazio Galante and Niccolò Menichini of Studio Galante-Menichini. Brioni now has 11 stores in China (flagships in Beijing and Shanghai), as well as 75 stores all across the globe.
