Heidi Klum in Michael Kors Fall 2011 in Toronto And Great Ways You Can Wear Red Right Now

70’s chic is still going strong and who better to do it than Michael Kors? On his Fall 2011 runway, he showed a crimson Stretch Matte Jersey Halter Bodysuit with Stretch Wool Crepe Straight Leg Trousers in the same shade with a chubby fur layered over both.

While launching her new fragrance, “Shine” in Toronto, Heidi Klum swapped out the fur and gave the look a menswear-inspired edge by adding a crimson Stretch Wool Crepe Blazer. She loves wearing Michael Kors both on and off the red carpet and quite frankly, she does the brand justice. I love that she went for such a bold look and is really getting us all ready for the last stretch of the holiday season.

Take a cue from Heidi and try these great ways to wear red right now:

I have sworn by Tom Ford’s lipsticks for the past year, thus I am incredibly anxious to try out his nail lacquer. In Carnal Red ($30), I cannot think of a better shade to rock for the holidays. Badgley Mischka’s Liz Top Frame Flap Bag ($495) is the perfect ladylike piece to add to your wardrobe. I have been a fan of Eddie Borgo’s jewelry for quite some time now and I love the simplicity of the Silk Tassel Necklace ($215), over a great LBD or a chunky knit. I don’t know if there is a fashion-minded woman around who hasn’t coveted a pair of Tory Burch’s flats at one point or another. The Carrie Leather and Patent Leather Ballet Flats ($225) will slowly become your favorites, especially when worn with skinnies on casual Fridays or on the weekends running errands.
