Get Vanessa Lachey’s H.Stern Oscar Niemeyer 18K Yellow Gold Earrings with Diamonds, Worn at the 2011 American Music Awards

Vanessa Minnillo has now officially become Vanessa Lachey. I’ve always thought she was a beautiful girl who looks great in casual looks, but can also rock a beautiful mini dress when it comes time to step onto the red carpet.

At the 2011 American Music Awards, she chose a one-shoulder white and gold sequin-embellished draped minidress. She accessorized with nude pumps and an amazing pair of earrings: H.Stern Oscar Niemeyer 18K Yellow Gold Earrings with Diamonds. Definitely a glamorous look done right.

Hans Stern is the brain behind H.Stern. I love the story of the brand as its roots are so unique: Stern founded a small gemstone trading business in Rio de Janeiro in 1945 and then the brand rose to popularity in the 1950’s, becoming quite well known in international circles. A young German emigré, Stern’s background is an amazing blend of cultures, which has become enriched even more now that his brand has become so well-known worldwide.

H.Stern’s collaborations with designers and artists have catapulted the brand into the luxury stratosphere. DVF has designed some amazing pieces for the brand (which have been some of my favorites), but the latest collaboration with Oscar Niemeyer is quickly becoming my favorite jewelry collection of the year. Niemeyer is a Brazilian architect known worldwide for his modern public buildings, including those for the city of Brasilia, as well as the United Nations headquarters in New York City.

Stern used Niemeyer’s sketches to create the amazing jewelry in the collection. The 18K Yellow Gold Earrings with Diamonds are clearly influenced by his architecture and though pricey, are unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

H.Stern’s Oscar Niemeyer 18K Yellow Gold Earrings with Diamonds retail for $3394. Visit to purchase and for more information.
