Kate Bosworth is a huge fan of Burberry and Christopher Bailey’s designs, thus it was no surprise that she attended the Burberry Body Event in Beverly Hills, hosted by Bailey as well as one of his muses, Rosie Huntington-Wheeley.
Kate went bold, in a look from Burberry Prorsum’s Spring 2012 collection. Boasting a beautiful tribal print, the dress was definitely a showstopper, though not one that I immediately gravitated to when viewing the collection. I wasn’t sure how it could be pulled off on the red carpet, but Kate definitely did it justice. It has a certain glamour, especially because of the interesting yet very feminine silhouette.
If you are looking to try tribal print for Fall, here are some great pieces to help you try it now:
Denim & Supply is Ralph Lauren’s newest label and if you haven’t seen the line or checked out its newest collection, try the Printed Off Shoulder Fleece ($98) for your first taste. Effortless dresses are the best things in a woman’s wardrobe and Thakoon’s Tribal Print Gathered Dress ($590) will become your new favorite. Though more along the lines of a Native American print, Pendleton’s Reversible Wool and Cotton Cape ($359) from The Portland Collection captures one of the season’s hottest trends.
