Give Back to Charity: Water’s New Drilling Project in Ethiopia with Camille Zarsky’s Limited Edition Mini Monte Carlo Python Clutch

I first featured Camille Zarsky’s handbags back in August and now the handbag designer is gearing up for a new project that combines charity, luxury and a global perspective. Camille has created a limited edition Mini Monte Carlo Python Clutch for which 35% of the proceeds will benefit Charity: Water’s new drilling project in Ethiopia.

“Almost one billion people on our planet don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. That’s one in eight of us. This new FS 250 drilling rig will be able to drill 80 wells and serve 40,000 people with clean water every year. It is nice to know that you have the ability to affect lives for the better.” – Camille Zarsky

The clutch really is beautiful and worth the splurge, especially because it was uniquely created for such an amazing cause. It is crafted from hand-dyed and hand-painted gold and silver python, with an interior of cerise blue suede lambskin, all imported from Italy. It features a long double link gold chain strap and can be worn for both day and night because of its dimensions: 10″ x 6″ x 3″.

Camille Zarsky’s Limited Edition Mini Monte Carlo Python Clutch retails for $1400. It will be available for purchase exclusively at www.camillezarsky.com on December 1st 2011. In the meantime, you can visit Camille’s personal fundraising page at www.mycharitywater.org/camillezarskyhandbags.
