First Anna Dello Russo and now Giambattista Valli. Is Macy’s trying to trump H&M and Target? I think so.
The new collection for Macy’s Impulse is pure Valli through and through: animal print, bold colors, femininity and functional separates. Naturally, he was inspired by travel, which was also the inspiration for his latest collection at Spring 2012 Paris Fashion Week.
Joan Smalls, Hanaa Ben Abdesslem and Sasha Pivovarova are the faces of the collection and I could not be happier. I definitely hope to get my hands on several pieces which will be perfect for year-round wear.
As you already know, Monsieur Valli is a favorite of style mavens all around the globe including Margherita Missoni, Emma Stone and many more.
