Ask Faith: A Great Leather Jacket and The Perfect Booties For Fall

“I am looking for a great leather jacket and the perfect booties for Fall.” – Cachée

Her style is eclectic and fashion forward, with a flair for luxury, unique design and interesting details.

When searching for two seasonal classics such as these, I wanted to show options that encompassed both timeless designs and those that were edgy, fitting Cachée’s style. It is very easy to buy the same leather jacket and bootie styles each season so it is important to spruce them up every so often with something you would not usually choose.

LEATHER JACKETS

The quintessential black leather jacket: Vince’s Quilted Leather Motocross Jacket ($935). I love Maison Scotch’s Metallic Sleeve Leather Jacket ($344). It is feminine, yet edgy and definitely gives me a Pink Ladies vibe and who doesn’t love Grease? When it comes to functionality, Tory Burch makes some of the best pieces around. The Wentworth Leather and Wool Blend Jacket ($1095) is an unusual take on a Fall leather, but is still very chic. The ruffle front on BB Dakota’s Channing Leather Jacket ($238) is amazing and its rich brown color goes with so many shades, even black.

BOOTIES

Sherpa is a surefire way to help you stay warm through Winter’s cold temperatures. Luxury Rebel Shoes’ Trenton Wedge Booties ($190) feature the cozy fabric and are great for inclement weather because of their rubber soles. Proenza Schouler makes the best footwear: I know from personal experience. The Suede Snub Nose Ankle Boots ($795) are simple and come in a great taupe color. Oxblood is a great shade for the season so mix that with aforementioned sherpa and you can pretty much guarantee that Pour La Victoire’s Aileen Platform Booties ($398) will be your statement-making booties until Spring comes back around. A simple black bootie is always a must-have for Fall. Sam Edelman’s Lou Side Buckle Platform Booties ($200) are uncomplicated and feature a great stacked heel for the utmost in comfort.
