Would You Wear Balenciaga’s Animalier Printed Handbags?

As the proud owner of two Balenciaga handbags, I am always looking out for the newest styles and noting down any that I covet. I am a vintage/consignment shopper so most of my handbags are bought that way, but when the piece is right, I will go for that big splurge and purchase a high-fashion handbag.

I am also an avid lover of animal print, thus Balenciaga’s Animalier Printed handbags have really caught my eye. In wild printed pony hair, they are the epitome of luxury and truly are statement pieces, sure to turn heads no matter where you go. With Spring 2012 Paris Fashion Week starting, I couldn’t help but be drawn to them and ponder whether or not any celebrities, “It” girls or editors will be seen rocking these pieces. My favorite is the Animalier Printed Classic Velo (shown above – $1795): for Fall, I would wear it with a black dress and booties or dark denim skinnies, a turtleneck and a leather jacket for cooler temperatures.
