My Top Picks for Back to School Shopping Including Rag & Bone, Tuleste Market, Nixon And More

Once August rolls around, so many people have their brains set on what to wear for back to school. Whether it be your senior year in high school, your first year in college or graduate school or law school, what you wear is indeed important and everyone likes to add a couple of new pieces to their wardrobe to make a proper first impression.

Though I haven’t seen the inside of a classroom in a few years, I have many friends and family members who are still currently enrolled and I hope to someday go back and take the next step in my education. In the meantime, what I can advise on is back to school fashion.

From the perfect rain boots to a must-have messenger bag, here are my top picks for learning in style:

Tuleste Market is one of my favorite jewelry brands. Try the Multi Strand Snake Chain Necklace ($130) for the perfect accessory to wear day in and day out. Vince’s Pleated Shorts ($178) are great for now and transition into Fall and Winter by adding knee socks or tights. Simplicity is key when choosing back to school jewelry and Gorjana’s Graham Triple Strand Leather Wrap Bracelet ($97) fits the bill. I love adding a touch of the exotic to my wardrobe each season: CC SKYE’s The Python Onie Messenger Bag ($595) gives that and a roomy handbag for all of your books.

Rain and snow can really make the trek to class difficult. Fortunately, Hunter’s Watling Lace Up Gloss Boots ($175) will make it easier. The perfect blazer is a Fall essential: Rag & Bone’s Knit Strand Jacket ($450) is a great one to own for the season. We have all had those painfully dull classes that never seem to end. Make yourself less conspicuous by checking Nixon’s Newton Digital Watch ($100) instead of your cellphone every five minutes.

Happy studying!
