Freida Pinto in Roland Mouret and Nicholas Kirkwood In New York City Plus Fun Ways To Try Chartreuse

Freida Pinto is such a natural and classic beauty. I always enjoy seeing her out and about as she truly wears elegant pieces that seem to perfectly match her personality.

She made an appearance on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” in New York City. For the occasion, she chose a full look from Roland Mouret: a sleeveless “Attis Carré” top and a draped “Cleonte” skirt, both in a lovely shade of chartreuse. She accessorized with killer bronze lace-up sandals from Nicholas Kirkwood that gave the sweet ensemble an edge. An amazing ladylike look that gave fabulous in just the right doses.

Chartreuse has been around since the late 18th century, but it hasn’t had the best history in terms of being a coveted shade. My feelings about the hue have changed drastically and now I think it is among one of the most feminine and elegant. Here are some fun ways to try chartreuse right now.

Christian Louboutin’s handbags are positively delectable. The Loubi Suede Croissant Clutch ($895) is a perfect way to inject some color into your wardrobe. I love my heels, but sometimes I just want to be relaxed and throw on a pair of flats. ModCloth’s Chartreuse Be Told Flats ($39.99) are statement makers for an unbelievable price. Jason Wu does femininity like no one else and the Sculpted Silk Skirt ($1450) works perfectly with a slew of colors and black tights for Fall.
