Eva Marcille has come a long way from her days as the winner of America’s Next Top Model. Her style is fierce and her newest haircut in an icy shade of platinum truly signifies her as a blonde bombshell.
She was seen at the premiere of Jumping The Broom in Los Angeles in a long printed maxi dress from ONE by Line & Dot. She paired it with gold statement earrings, a brown belt cinching her waist, sandals and a clutch in the same brown hue and a stack of tribal-inspired beaded bracelets. The look was absolutely gorgeous and quite covered, showing that one doesn’t need to bare it all to look fabulous on the red carpet.
ONE is a curated collection of pieces exclusive to Shopbop and showcases unique designs from both new and established designers, giving customers the ultimate shopping experience. Each season, the collection will be renewed based on the season’s trends, as well as the eyes of the Shopbop buyers and editors.
I haven’t always been a fan of maxi dresses as I believe they are sometimes a lazy option to actually getting dressed. Designers this season have proven me wrong, creating pieces that I cannot wait to buy and wear day in and day out. Here are my maxi dress picks for Spring.
Per my last post on Rochelle Wiseman’s style, you can tell that I am all about animal print. Thayer’s Wild One Maxi Dress ($385) captures the trend of the season in a cool cheetah print and is an interesting take on a maxi dress with a high/low hem. Aquilano.Rimondi is one of my favorite brands and the Pleated Slit Maxi Dress ($2445) shows some leg in a great way. I love a great black and white print dress (I will actually be wearing a vintage one to party this weekend) and Diane von Furstenberg’s Elalia Maxi Dress ($465) is a great buy for Spring and has a kind of flamenco dancer feel.
ONE by Line & Dot’s Printed Long Dress retails for $118. Visit www.shopbop.com to purchase and try Tom Ford’s True Coral lipstick ($45) to get Eva’s eye-catching orange lip.
