Amanda Brooks is Barney’s new Women’s Fashion Director and a style star in her own right. Everywhere she goes, her picture is taken and she is usually clad in the season’s hottest looks.
Barneys New York had a celebration for one of fashion’s hottest new designers, Guillaume Henry of Carven and Brooks was there in a head-to-toe look from the brand: an Olive Ruched Taffeta Dress ($800) that is a total statement piece perfect for any cocktail event. She accessorized with bedhead hair, an eye-popping red lip and black pumps from the brand.
Olive is a great color year round and works really well for Spring when paired with brights or with neutrals. Here are my favorite picks in the seasonless shade:
April showers bring May flowers so gear up in Moon Collection’s Planning Ahead Jacket ($67.99) equipped with a hood for under $100. Booties work year round and Steven’s Caylyn Elastic Banded Booties (on sale for $161) are cool additions to your wardrobe. Ladylike is in for Spring so try the trend with Parker’s Long-sleeve Ruffle Top ($209).
