Emma Roberts in Chanel Spring 2011 and Fun Ways to Wear Tweed

The great thing about tweed is that it is seasonless and works in a variety of ways from tweed coats to tweed shorts.

It is often associated with ladies who lunch and the older set, but Chanel is a brand that has been reinventing the classic fabric season after season.

Emma Roberts was seen at the Fall 2011 show in a baby blue tweed dress with feathers from the Spring 2011 collection. She accessorized with a white clutch from the brand and silver metallic Maniac pumps from Brian Atwood.

The look is absolutely adorable and almost rotted my teeth with sweetness.

This is the perfect ensemble for a red carpet event or cocktail party where you want to stand out and command attention.

Here are my favorite tweed picks for Spring:

Coral is always in for Spring and there’s no better way to add some color to your wardrobe than with Elizabeth and James’ Tweed James Blazer ($465). Once the weather turns warm, you’re definitely out and about more often so switch it up every now and then with Rebecca Minkoff’s Tweed Clutch ($275). Owning a piece from Jason Wu is a necessity, so pick up his Button-front Tweed Playsuit (on sale for $453.25) and start Spring off in style.
