Get Emma Stone’s Giambattista Valli Wool Peplum Dress, Worn Out and About in London

Black and white is the most classic color combination of all time and it is almost always a surefire way to look chic in your everyday life, out and about at night, as well as for special occasions and red carpet events. With the colorblocking trend that is so popular for Fall, pairing the two not only allows you to look your best, but to be on-trend as well.

Emma Stone stepped out in black and white while in London, wearing a look from Giambattista Valli’s Fall 2011 Collection: a Wool Peplum Dress with embroidered sleeves. She accessorized with Vicky Jane Pumps from Christian Louboutin and a black clutch from Judith Leiber. Classic and beautiful and a great way to balance the amount of skin shown with a long-sleeve top and short skirt.

As you know, Giambattista Valli is one of my favorite designers. His pieces do not disappoint and he is a dress man, which is perfect for a woman like me. The ready to wear version does not have the embellished sleeves and features a longer skirt. This is a splurge that is best worn for winter since the dress is wool, but it is still extremely versatile: for the office with a red blazer, with black tights in the dead of winter, for nights out with a bright statement pump. Think of this as your new go-to dress for the season.

Giambattista Valli’s Wool Peplum Dress retails for $1598. Visit www.mytheresa.com to purchase and www.giambattistavalli.com for more information.
