It’s snowing here in NYC so there’s nothing like a dose of colorful fab to give you inspiration on a day like this. Fashion is always months ahead and thus the March 2012 cover of Numéro Tokyo has been revealed. The cover girl? Style maven Victoria Beckham.
On the cover, Mrs. Beckham rocks a Turquoise Leather Trench Coat from Burberry Prorsum’s Resort 2012 collection. I absolutely love this look and its made even more fierce with her sleek brunette locks. It would be great to see her on the cover of more magazines this year if possible.
How can you not fall hopelessly in love with this coat? First and foremost, I love leather trench coats: they are a fun spin on the classic style and can work year round from rainy Spring days to cold Winter weekends layered under a fur vest. In this bright hue, there is no way that you won’t turn heads and it is Burberry, thus you know it is of the highest quality. A splurge in every sense of the word, but surely a standout piece in your wardrobe that you really will be able to wear forever.
Burberry Prorsum’s Turquoise Leather Trench Coat retails for $5355. Visit www.mytheresa.com to purchase and see the look on the runway below, worn by Edie Campbell. If you’re looking for the sandals that accompany this runway look, check them out on Solange Knowles.
