Victoria Beckham Steps Out In Her New Lower-Priced Victoria by Victoria Beckham Collection and Christian Louboutin’s Daf Booties in New York City

Victoria Beckham is back on the scene. After giving birth to her beautiful daughter, Harper, she is once again making her mark on the fashion industry, this time with a new lower-priced dress collection named Victoria by Victoria Beckham.

For Spring 2012 New York Fashion Week, Victoria was spotted out and about in New York City rocking a pink and black dress with scallop detailing and a drop-waist bubble hem from her new dress collection. She accessorized with Christian Louboutin’s Daf Booties. I am not usually a fan of pairing a feminine dress with booties when the weather is still warm, but it looks great here on Victoria and I am quite sure that the Daf Booties will be just as popular as their pump predecessor.

Victoria’s newest collection is one compromised of 1960’s-style dresses that are as versatile as anything that I have ever seen. I am totally a dress woman, thus I love the idea and the functionality and femininity of the pieces. For Fall, you could pair the one she wore with black tights and those same Daf Booties, or with knee highs and pumps, for a schoolgirl feel.

WWD reports that the collection will retail for $550 – $900, which is still quite a splurge but much lower-priced than her namesake collection. Victoria was inspired by cartoon character, Emily the Strange, who always wears the cutest dresses, though her aesthetic is a bit dark. I love the bright hues of the designs, showing that color is in and here to stay. The best part of the collection is that these dresses will look great on women of any shape or size. Victoria is giving us all something to covet and really solidifying herself as a womenswear designer who designs for every woman.
