Tika Sumpter is one of my new favorite style mavens. She goes for eye-catching colors, interesting silhouettes and a mix of brands from Alice + Olivia to now, Myne and Charlotte Olympia.
She was seen at Kelly Rowland’s “Here I Am” Album Release Party at the Moët Rosé Lounge at the Top of The Standard Hotel in New York City. Tika rocked a hot pink Silk Dress from Myne and paired it with a metallic belt cinching her waist and Dolly Velvet Platform Pumps from Charlotte Olympia. I love the ease and simplicity of the dress and its plunging neckline: perfect for Summer. Charlotte Olympia can do no wrong and her pumps are a wonderful addition to the look, providing an added dose of glamour and femininity. I also love wearing velvet all year-round and the juxtaposition with the silk provides an amazing blend of textures in Tika’s look.
