Kanye West at Adam Kimmel’s Spring 2012 Show in Paris Plus A Look at the Collection

Kanye West never misses Paris Fashion Week so of course he is in one of my favorite cities in the world to check out the Spring 2012 Menswear Collections. He sat front row at Adam Kimmel’s show in a vintage snapback hat (an accessory he has grown quite fond of), a white t-shirt with an amazing monkey motif on its back (Prada perhaps?), orange skinnies, white sneakers and gold chains galore. The chain’s pendant looks like a George Condo artwork, thus he might have had it specially made for Kanye. I love that he has his own style. He isn’t afraid to wear what he wants and pushes the envelope, which is honestly not something most men are brave enough to try.

Spring 2012 marks Adam Kimmel’s first runway show in Paris and he truly does not disappoint. His pieces are extremely versatile and functional, fitting every man’s style from those who prefer suits to those that feel most comfortable in shorts and sneakers. His designs are functional, which make them perfect for fashionable gents who appreciate comfort, yet still want to appear polished.

Every look has an ease about it whether it be a jumpsuit or a heathered t-shirt and cropped trousers. Adam is known for blending luxury with workwear silhouettes and he does just that for Spring. There is also a bit of fun added in graphic tees and quirky printed button-downs that would have looked really amazing on Charlie Sheen’s “Two And A Half Men” character. I am definitely curious to see if Mr. West will be wearing any of the collection’s pieces this year.
